Your Hosts
Delivered by yoga & well-being guide, Caoimhe Keohane of Wild Anam and Franny Schlicke, Visitor Experience & Operations Supervisor, and resident Gaelic guide, for the Rewilding Centre. Join them for three days in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, where they will weave together connection, restoration and nature into a truly special experience.
About them and why they are inspired to do the work they do:
Caoimhe says “Humans are from this earth. We were born from it. We have become disconnected from our wild roots, and the earth is suffering because of this. Connecting people to nature is ultimately connecting people to themselves and the realisation that there is no separation. This fundamental realisation combined with spending present moments with ourselves in the wilder parts of nature, with our breath and with slowness and deep awareness, is the most important thing in the universe at this moment in time.”
Franny says “Responsible access to the natural environment should be available to everybody. How can we expect people to care about rewilding if it affects landscapes that are out of reach? We should all have the right to explore these spaces, and to feel connected with them. And understanding Gaelic is a fascinating way of uncovering Scotland’s natural and cultural heritage: it should inform how we interact with our land today, and in the future.”
