Rewilding Experience

What you can expect
Join us for a nature-packed experience where we will guide you on a weekend of rewilding and wildlife activities, immersed in the beautiful landscape of Dundreggan estate. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about local wildlife and plants, including tracks and signs, plant identification and much more.
It is also an opportunity to explore the role of Gaelic language and culture in rewilding, and get an introduction to Dundreggan’s Gaelic landscape! Learn more about Trees for Life’s exciting projects to restore the Caledonian forest and return biodiversity to the Highlands.
Who is the Rewilding Experience for?
Adults looking to learn more about the nature and wildlife of the Scottish Highlands and develop a greater understanding of a rewilding landscape. If you are looking for a longer experience and more time with the experts who are making rewilding happen, check out our Rewilding in Action Experience.
Most of the activities are suitable for all audiences, including those with additional accessibility needs. However, some of the planned walks may include occasionally steep, pathless terrain. If you have questions about accessibility please get in touch.
